I don’t know what I am

Hi.

So, someone asked me earlier if I’m a front-end developer. I promptly responded with “kinda, I can HTML and CSS and WordPress a bit” – From that I missed out on an opportunity. It’s really got me thinking about what I am. Okay, so I design things, I can build them too, I could probably do a WordPress theme no sweat if you gave me the time, but yet I still don’t know what my one specific specialty is. I like to look at things, I like to design things, to an extent I like to build them. But which is it I like the most? Which is the one I’m best at.

Truth is, I have no idea.

I got too much stuff

Hi.

I’ve got too much stuff. My room/studio/office has got too much stuff in it. It’s bursting at the seams and I don’t have anywhere to put anything. My room is pretty tiny, my desk isn’t cluttered, it’s just everywhere else that is.

I think I should embrace minimalism a little more, not just in my possessions but in my process and my actions too. I wanna turn my room into an office I can sleep in. A place to keep my vinyl and a place to keep my working life. I think this is a change I’m gonna enforce in the next few months.

Also, I had an idea for a really cool app. I’m designing the screens for it now, and I might try my hand at developing it, or I’ll find someone else to do it for me. Not sure yet. Anyway, it relates to vinyl.
